.009 Bulls, Lions, Dogs & The Cross: A Messianic Psalm

.009, A Messianic Psalm: Bulls, Lions, Dogs & The Cross.
*the enemy of God has had his epitaph written in the same blood that defeated death itself. (Companion to Psalm 22)

Filth had crept in as the sky bled 3 hours of black blood
Down the canvas of the future history or art.
The hybrid-hideousness of bulls and low lions,
Scavenging packs of feral dogs and demons.
An ancient evil came to chant and cheer
at Your eminent demise.
Mockery and contempt spit through carnivorous jaws and broken teeth.
Surrounded by a heaping, oozing mass of the most selfish, earthburnt
Creatures the world has never seen.
Oh the huzzahs of hell!
Agony at the cacophony of demonic belches and howls.
They hated You…they still hate You with a trained and perfect hatred.
Cursedusurpersblewfoulbreathlikethestenchreleased…at the end of all days.
O the depths and fathoms. O the evil, we’ve now come to fathom….

Selah.

But there You hung.
And by hanging You stood.
In the face of all fears
In the countenance of death.
A paradoxical weapon of war
That shot such pure flame, surefire white-hot heat,
LIGHT shattering and cascading through Your death.
And all the earth shook.
As all of heaven wept.
And all the hoards of the wraiths, demigods, watchers…
blasphemed and hell-spun transhumanistic garbage-talkers took their very first breath of the prophesied, chasmic torture that would be their never-ending grave.

Amen.
