Day 4: Psalm .010: The Dregs

Psalm .010: The Dregs

Contention embedded
Yet pulled out with prongs
Of minor insults and filthy corners
Hold-up hellions clinging to the out-of-date version.
Then came the trash collector, the future-protector
The wrecker.
The re-erector.
Pull from me.
Self-guided entropy.
The idle, hoarded construction
Of a man afraid.

Now replace.
Trade in and transition.
Cause reinvention.
Reinvent cause.
And restore again the things I destroyed
Before your flawless fashioning took place.
